Message from VP Kimura

Colleagues;

Congratulations on the big success ot the APAMI 2006, with a little bit of appreciation of having my paper awarded as the best paper.

Last week, we had our national conference at Sapporo, which is 20 degrees lower than Taipei. We had 2195 participants.

On the board meeting, it was approved that we have our 2009 conference at Hiroshima on Nov 2009.
According to the preference shown at Taipei, we will arrange APAMI 2009 with this, and myself as conference chair.

One good news is that Prof. Haux, at Sapporo, proposed a plan to have IMIA GA at Hiroshima on the schedule. This will be discussed this week at IMIA GA in DC.
